EVENT TRAILER

Service
groups, non-profits, societies, athletic associations and
other eligible groups in the Tri-City and Ridge Meadows areas
presenting public events in 2005 now have access to a fully
mobile Event Trailer for festivals, tournaments, fun-runs
and other suitable events. There are no rental or usage fees
charged to eligible groups and bookings are done on a first-come,
first-served basis.
The
Event Trailer is jointly sponsored by EPR Coquitlam, and Meridian
RV of Port Coquitlam. Transportation to and from venues is
provided courtesy of Coquitlam Towing & Storage.
The
Event Trailer is the former CKNW "Crystal Palace"
that toured numerous community events in the Lower Mainland
for many years until it was retired from service by CKNW in
1999. The Trailer was then purchased by Meridian RV, where
it underwent a minor refit and was launched on a new community
career. The Event Trailer is a fully functional mobile "headquarters"
with electrical, external PA system and work areas. It makes
an excellent site office, announcement or broadcast booth
for organizers of any sized event.
