Ken Richardson, CGA      

Ken is the Managing Partner of EPR Coquitlam and brings many years of public practice experience to the table. He has a no-nonsense approach to business and a knack for presenting complex business and tax solutions in down-to-earth, practical terms. The whiteboard is one of his favourite activities.

Ken is a long-time resident of the Tri-Cities and an SFU alumni. After spending several years with Canada Revenue Agency in audit and special investigations, he obtained a CGA designation in 1982 and set out to put his own brand on the profession. Ken established the EPR Coquitlam practice in 1985 and went on to hold the post of National Chairman of EPR Canada for four years.

He is also a familiar face around CGABC having served on various boards and committees including Ethics and By-Laws. Ken has stayed involved in the community over the years by participating in a number of local organizations including the Boy Scouts, Chamber of Commerce and the Coquitlam Foundation.

Ken's area of practice is succession and estate planning, corporate reorganizations and corporate tax planning. He works closely with business owners from a cross-section of industries providing them with in-depth tax advice and strategic business planning. He is a sought after speaker who has given numerous presentations to professional and industry groups on a variety of tax and succession planning topics.

Perspective, experience, and sound business advice are among the things clients depend on Ken for. He also tries hard at golf.
