Expert Valuator
Serving
as an expert involves the preparation of an independent and
objective valuation opinion, estimate, comment, or critique
for one of the parties to the dispute and appearing in court
to present those findings.
Financial Consultant
In
the event a valuation analysis has already been prepared by
the other side to the dispute, it is often cost effective
to engage the Litigation Accountant as a consultant to assist
in the identification of negotiation points on issues requiring
judgement.
Mediator/Arbitrator
The
Litigation Accountant possesses the education and experience
for the effective collection and analysis of the information
necessary to serve as an arbitrator of disputes. Members of
the Arbitration and Mediation Societies across Canada are
dedicated to the resolution of disputes of all kinds through
the use of mediation, arbitration, and other voluntary methods.
