COMPILATION: In cases where users of financial information require less assurance.

Compilations are used in limited circumstances where clients and other users do not need financial statements containing disclosures normally required for general purpose use. The objective is to ensure the information is not false or misleading. Information supplied by you is presented in the form of a financial statement that can be compiled on a monthly or annual basis.

Because of the limited work involved in procedures, a compilation engagement does not verify the accuracy or completeness of the information and no expression of assurance is issued by EPR. Instead, a “Notice to Reader” communication is attached, specifying the limited nature of the statements.

Compilation services are an extension of the accounting and business advisory services we offer and are used in cases where full scale audits or reviews are not required. EPR can help you determine which type of engagement is right for you and your business at any point in your business cycle.
